Saturday, April 22- It's Sharon's 67th birthday today and it's our last day on the cruise ship. Should be fun. We go down for breakfast around 7:15 and have a eggs and fruit. I am done with veggies and Chinese stuff for breakfast. We are meeting around 8:20 to prepare for our excursion to visit a Pagoda. There are a few boats docked so needless to say there are a thousand tourists at the same sight. On the walk to the Pagoda there is a big market. They are selling lots of souvenirs, but also fish, veggies, fruits, and things that I can't always identify.
View from our ship. Lots of people doing their clothes washing.

You must bargain with these people. They have calculators to show prices.

When we get back on board, the sun is shining so we head out to the top deck. Ron has gone for his last knee treatment so I sit out with Sharon, Butch, Armand, Dodie, George and others. We are burning out there so after a bit we move inside for lunch. After lunch there is a Mah Jong presentation. It is in a room directly across from our cabin. Ron and I go, but there are so many people that it's hard to see. Rémi is sitting at the French table and actually gets a chance to try it. He says that it's not that hard.
Ron and I go sit outside again until 4pm.

Shots taken from the ship as we sail.
Goats on the shore.
Palm trees. They plant bananas here.
This is our last evening so Rod and Joanne have invited everyone to their room to have a drink as tonight is also the Captain's dinner so everyone will be dressed up except Ron and me. We did not make an effort to bring fancy clothes. Supper is at 6:30 tonight. The staff will serve us.
Christina and Peter were our servers for every meal.
Dodie and Armand from B.C.

Tonight is a chance for passengers to present. Our group is the third one to go. We sing our song and others say that it was good. They could actually hear the lyrics. We had our guide, Jack, come sit as we sang to him.
Our other group did a square dance. It was also fun.
We go to our room after the show as we need to have our luggage outside our door by 10:30. We leave for Chongqing in the morning.
