Thursday, November 10.

Happy birthday to our friend Riss Clarke today. It is a sunny morning and should be good all day. Our only plans today are staying near the water, swimming and snorkelling. This morning was spent under a palm tree, reading and going in the water to cool off. We came back to our room to have a bite to eat and headed out again for a snorkel.

We saw four Rays in the same area.

It was my first time seeing this one. 

Was a pretty good outing considering this is from the shore. We swim out to the farthest buoy, where our limit is, and go with the current. Not too difficult, even for me. 

We had planned to have supper with Maria Helena and Luigi as it was her birthday. They had gone to the same excursion we took last Thursday with Robin. Well, our tour had us back by 5 pm, so we were getting a little worried when they weren't back by 7. They arrived about 5 minutes later and apologized but they  had such a great day. Anyway, we decided to go out anyway. 

We went to a restaurant named Natura. It's awesome. Wendy, André, Lima, and Fred, you will have to go there. So we order and chat. They talk about the amazing experience they had at the cave and the cenote. We end up staying at the restaurant for over two hours. It's their second time here so are already friends with the owners. We have natural drinks and a mixture of main meals. We top it off with desser which the owner offers free of charge to Maria H, and Ron and I share a brownie and  ice cream.
