Our awakening brings to the horrendous news that Trump will become the next President of the US. What a coincidence, it was raining and dark here this morning. A drab start to the day. We broke away from our regular beach walk and went for breakfast around 8:30. Another unique meal, a costada. Really a small crusty taco with tomatoes, onions, and cheese. The rain recedes around 9:45 so around 10:00, we decide to go for a walk. Well, our neighbours, Luigi and Maria-Helena are finishing breakfast. We chat for what was going to be a few minutes, catching up on our days yesterday...well, three hours later Ron and I head out for our walk. They are so easy to talk with. Our walk takes to the streets away from the beach. There are beautiful flowers in the trees. And then, in a little park, the Tejones (tehonés) are there. There had to be 15 of them. In a stream nearby, a crocodile was sleeping.

They look so cute and they are harmless.
There were adults and young ones
We walked by a fish restaurant and of course they ask you to come and see the catches of the day. You get to choose your fish. Unfortunately Ron is not a fish eater and one fish is too much for one person.
The waiter couldn't name this one but said that it was like a snapper.
When we got back, Ron donned his bathing suit and grabbed his snorkeling gear. Here is what he saw.
We leave our place around 5:10 and stop for a pre-dinner drink.
